Time Not Lost.., Mont Blanc

Time has a wonderful way of showing us what really matters. In this era filled with hi-tech convenience, everyone uses mobile phone to tell time. While I am certain of the importance to live in the present and keep up with the growth of this worldly society, but what they do not realize is the loss of a particular romantic factor that is so beautiful about a timepiece: the craft. And, this night, Mont Blanc reminded us about going that extra mile… whether it is the journey into its mountain, or the journey from time into your heart.

Yes, to some extent, I am a hopeless romantic, who still enjoy handwritten love notes, touched by people who’ll go that extra mile, mesmerized by a knight in shiny armour who’ll go all out to defend and protect his love, and believe that a lifetime partner should inspire you every single day. As I grow into the embrace of this amazing digital era, my heartbeat slows at every tick. More often than not, I need to hide in my shell alone in order to feel.

Back to the love with little hands; that touches mankind with gazillions of memories, and allows us to wonder beautiful, unanswerable questions. I was extremely delighted to receive invitation to grace the launch of Mont Blanc’s 4810 timepiece collection, with the presence of WatchAnish. As a lover of craftsmanship, I am even more pleasured to have spoken with some of the experienced watchmakers of this industry. There is just so much to adore from an inimitable timepiece to an immeasurable masterpiece.

Side note, I rallied a small squad to this event and styled them in HAUS OF PESH jewelleries. Both Quanda, owner of Gnome & Bow, and myself wore identical chromed NIRVANA unisex bracelet that brilliantly matched the Mont Blanc watches!

While I adorned myself with the PANTEIA golden armour, I’d restyled my friend, Claire, with FEIER silver body chain just as a long necklace. And, my beauty queen Kyla, Miss Singapore International 2010, showed up to the event with much elegance matching the faux pearl necklace QUEIN with a cute dress. Always able to find a fit in different styles to match different accessories.
