Gold.., At Michael Kors Flagship Store

Here’s a little late update on an overdue affair. That morning.., or any morning, waking up to a cool and gloomy start always makes me feel kind of naked. I slipped into my silk robe with the perfect bed head and took a glance at the girl in the mirror. “Gosh!” I thought, “this girl needs some work done!” You know, one of those freaky mornings that made me wondered if I had slept right through an alien invasion. Nevertheless, following through my morning routine of workout and nourishment rituals always lead to a good start. Always.

It is true when you pull yourself together, the magic begins. As the sun quickly peeked through the dissipating dark clouds, I received an invite to the launch of Michael Kors flagship store and a dinner hosted at my favourite restaurant with Mr. MK himself and special guest Kate Hudson. You know what that means? It is time to play dress-up!

Grateful to partner StyleLease for this really amazing piece of asymmetrical gold sequinned cocktail dress! Definitely my love at first sight! It has this perfect slit high and wide enough to ensure comfort in any movement, and showing off enough legs while lightening the visual heaviness of what a wrapped gold dress could potentially bring. I love styling to perfection (some call it ‘too much’), so adorning my favourite statement armor, PANTEIA, was a no-brainer. It is one of a kind and I love how the glitter and bling from both the dress and jewellery sat in harmoniously as one. Of course, my obsession was with the metallic tassels that swayed with every move I made into the grand boutique.

Everything was a wow. Beautifully celebrated, the Michael Kors flagship store highlighted stories through visual merchandising at every corner. Apart from the fashion exploration, good-looking people exchanged electrifying eye contact and superstar waving gesture while contagious laughter filled the room of the high ceiling. Truth to be told, the actual superstars, Michael Kors and Kate Hudson, graced the event with so much power and authority none in the room possessed. I am sure we were “too cool” to be in a fan girl state of mind, but seriously, real charm is also often being admired silently from afar.

It was a great time catching up with friends. And, a glorious one in my beautiful outfit all thanks to StyleLease! Seriously, cannot get enough of it! (;
