ABOUT: THE WHISPERER
“Under the harvest moon, slipping into her own skin, the brimming soul of the whisperer — in constant joy and drippings of shimmer — shares a thousand thoughts and memories she touches and that have touched upon her, …sometimes with unanswerable questions.”
— The Whispering Subconscious.

PESH·ION [reads: passion]
Defines the state of being in the (her) element — fire of passion; guts to explore; will to stay true to the heart. These values are aligned in relation to Freedom.
Educated in visual communication, graphic, fashion and jewellery design, this style and creative head, former beauty queen and an adventure sports enthusiast is passionate about designs, colours, travel, life outdoors, movement, state of flow, mindful living, holistic wellness, animals, wildlife conservation and environmental advocacy. Sorry, a little too many!
She finds intriguing beauty — beyond the societal norms and its (preconceived) notion — in the process of discovery and becoming a substance of evolvement. Her past travel exploration through a raw and uncompromised lens in the greater nature, led her in pursuit of self-growth and (re)discovery. She very much wishes to show you the world through her eyes.
HI, I’M PESH. AN IMPERFECT HUMAN.
Welcome to this humble space told of my wild child escapades; through an eclectic collection of visuals, crafts, musings, and real life experiences. I view myself as a citizen of our planet, just as how I view this world — as one. Like everyone else, I am a living being dependent and in miraculous ways rooted to nature, despite being born and lived all my life in a cosmopolitan set up. With a mind always on the extreme ends of spectrum, I travel and live thirstily for adrenaline adventures but also grounded-ness. I find tremendous joy outdoors in the nature as it has taught me to seek greater connections not just within myself, also with the immediate environment and beyond. It has since challenged me to balance the equilibrium of continuous growth, and sustainable living. So here I am…, a true to the bones imperfectly eco-conscious wild child trying my best to live mindfully in many areas of life. And, I hope we can do this together. In a way or another.
I do not pretend to have all the answers, but I do believe that our presence is a form of invitation to continuous and purposeful exploration. Peshion [reads: passion] — is a word of description that speaks of my spirit; of the inner fire; the guts to explore far out; and the will to stay true to my heart. I often use this word when I am in my element and as a reminder when in need. I believe in the pursuit of freedom is a journey only possible via passion and the understanding of it. Hence, it is exactly what this space is about — inspiration, ideas, adventures, and sharing of my journeys in as many colours as possible. Hopefully, as I grow, in some ways, sprinkle a little more value and joy every time.
Dear wild hearts, may we continue making wishes alongside all leaves and legends, may all sadness in the world vanishes as flowers blossom, may we hear the humble whisperings from Queendom of Mother Earth, and sway with the rhythm of the wind as the core of our universe raptures, setting our souls on fire…, and into a state of freedom.
— The Whispering Wild Child.
ALWAYS LEARNING. ALWAYS EXPLORING.
All the things I choose to do are on the basis of seeking 3 factors – passion, purpose and fulfilment, where, the ideal ecosystem would be all three at once. So it’s no surprise I fall (madly) in love with almost everything I do! There is an immensely deep sense of being present when it comes to movement, change, and especially confronting our fears — That is where I find delight; a deeper state of mind and constant dynamic growth. Here’s to knowing me a little bit more down this memory lane; good times exploring this thing called life:
2008
First solo travel; to Phuket, Thailand. First scuba dive experience, and completed Open Water scuba dive license course.
2011
Crowned and represented as Bride of The World Singapore in a bridal themed beauty pageant. Love how this photo happened to have 3 out of 4 of my favourite girls (unplanned)! Also, the year I started modelling.
2012
Represented Singapore in Miss Asia Pacific World beauty pageant, in South Korea
2014
First surfed in Gold Coast, Australia, and fell in love even when I was terrible at it.
March 2015
The start of many firsts; first time in Japan, first time snowboarding, first time making snow angel. Absolutely obsessed.
July 2015
First mountain hike experience; summited Mount Rinjani (3,726m / 12,224ft) in Lombok, Indonesia. This picture clearly shows that’s all the energy I have left at the top of this 100m of scree rocks. Honestly, didn’t think I would make it — so glad I did.
2016
Started volunteering at SPCA and no-kill dog shelter. That’s when I found my heart’s first hint of purpose (animals).
September 2016
First big mountain expedition that truly sparked my love for mountaineering; summited Stok Kangri (6,153m / 20,187ft) – part of the Himalayan range located in Ladakh, larger Kashmir region, India. I also learnt how much I detest the sound of cramp-ons on rocks; it cringes me.
September 2016
Right off the mountain, and into Miss Singapore Universe as a finalist. To be honest, my face was half sun-burnt 😛
February 2017
First alpine course in Mount Cook National Park, NZ. It was extremely fun, kind of torturous, but mainly hilarious to know how physically weak I am to even think of getting into alpining. Something I would love doing it again and more often.
May 2017
Solo travelled to KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa for wildlife conservation volunteer work. Swept off my feet by the wilderness, and came home with a new heart. This is my perfect eco-system of Passion, Purpose, Fulfilment.
September 2017
In Ladakh to summit Kang Yatse 1 (6,400m / 21,000ft) in the Himalayan range — personal highest summit record as of 2022. I absolutely love its technicality. Also, along the way, met Whinsey the mountain dog (I gave her that name).
April 2018
Certified as a licensed skydiver was the best birthday gift from myself. The first step towards a dream of human flight…
July 2018
The next best thing in the same year was attaining my license as an official paragliding pilot.
2019
Climbed Imja Tse (6,160m / 20210ft) — also known as Island Peak — but failed to complete the last summit push due to a weaker state of mind mainly (I wasn’t at my best). But I really looked forward to it so much; it has everything technical I wish to go through without having to pursue Everest or other 8000ers. I need to go back or it kills me slowly…
November 2019
Ran my personal best time wise; with 10km in an hour. I am generally a slow runner, so I was happy with the effort.
May 2020
Ran my personal best distance wise, of (almost) 21km with an elevation of 327m chasing the beautiful sunrise. Although my pace could be better.
October 2020
Started sailing during covid.
November 2021
Got into acro yoga and, honestly, loving it.
August 2022
Started Longboard Dance & Freestyle. Damn I love boards.
Stay true and wild,
